Who is Isaac? What is Philosonomics?

A year out of undergrad, I am now working as a research assistant in a major regulatory agency in DC.  This is intended as a forum for my thoughts and reflections as I plod along the path towards achieving a PhD in economics or a related field.  It will document both my progress on any independent research I take up, as well as the trials and accomplishments I face along the way.  The end product, I hope, is a variegated but useful document for both my own use and reflection, as well as for anyone considering a similar path.
